Ingredients
- 3 cups idly Rice
- 1 cups of Urid dhal
- 1 tablespoon of Salt.
Method
- Soak the Rice & urid dhal separately for few hours
- Wash both well.
- Grind the rice with water.It will take 20 minutes.
- After grinding the rice , it should be smooth
- Take out the ground rice
- Then grind the urid dhal with water
- Grind for 20 mins
- Take-out and mix both
- Add Salt , Water 1/2 cup and mix well.
- It can be left outside overnight for fermenting.
- Keep it in the fridge for later use.
- Heat the frying pan
- Make the dosai into round shape
- Pour the oil around the dosai.
- Fry to golden brown, crispy and serve hot with sambar/chutney.
